Bitunix Analysts: PCE Expected to Remain Stable, Trump's Tariffs Intensify Inflation and Growth Concerns

2025-09-26 14:37

ChainThink report, September 26, the U.S. core PCE data released later today is expected to remain flat (monthly growth of 0.3% and annual growth of 2.9%), indicating that inflation remains within a controllable range. On the same day, Trump announced high tariffs ranging from 25% to 100% on items such as trucks, furniture, and pharmaceuticals, effective October 1. Although this move does not affect the current PCE, it may bring one-time inflationary pressure and deepen market concerns about economic slowdown. Overall, the Federal Reserve may shift towards a more conservative stance, while the market continues to bet on future rate cuts, causing the crypto market to face dual sentiments of "inflation hedge" and "pressure on risk assets."

In the crypto market, the market has continued to decline this week. BTC is currently fluctuating around $109,000. The key liquidity support level at $108,000 forms a critical level, and a break below it could test the $106,000–$107,000 range. The short-term resistance zone for bulls is concentrated between $110,000 and $112,000, with $116,000 as the main resistance level, which requires significant capital inflow to break through.

Bitunix Analysts' Recommendations

The tariff effect will increase market uncertainty, and investor sentiment may oscillate between "rising inflation" and "slowing growth." In the short term, caution is needed. The BTC support area should focus on $108k–$107,000, while the resistance area is between $118k and $120,000. It is recommended to strictly control leverage before and after the data release, gradually position, and strictly adhere to stop-loss orders to cope with potential volatility.
