ChainThink news, October 5, as the U.S. government shutdown continues, Trump stated that he is confident this deadlock will eventually end with a positive outcome. Trump said his administration and the Republicans are "winning" while striving to cut federal spending.


When asked how the government shutdown would end, Trump replied, "Very well. We are winning, and we are significantly cutting costs!" Despite Trump's optimistic attitude, lawmakers have left Washington for the weekend without any obvious progress, and have not yet reached an agreement on a funding bill to reopen the government.
