ChainThink report, on December 10, the U.S. Department of War partnered with Google to launch a new platform, GenAI.mil, marking the first integration of Google's Gemini for Government into military operations. Google's IL5 model has become the first generative AI system deployed within the U.S. Army Department.


With GenAI.mil and Gemini for Government now officially live, the Pentagon is rolling out AI technology across the entire military force. Google's system provides secure, reliable, IL5-compliant generative tools to 3 million U.S. military personnel for non-classified workloads.
