ChainThink reports, according to CoinDesk, Babylon has announced a collaboration with the decentralized lending protocol Aave, enabling native Bitcoin as collateral within Aave V4 without the need for wrapped tokens or custodial intermediaries. This partnership will integrate Babylon’s trustless vaults with Aave’s “hub-and-spoke” architecture, allowing users to deposit native BTC on the Bitcoin blockchain while borrowing stablecoins and other assets on the Aave marketplace. Testing is expected to begin in early 2026, with product launch planned for April.
