Major U.S. stock indices opened slightly higher, with Tesla leading the gain while Apple declined.

The US stock market opened flat on Tuesday, with all three major indices rising slightly. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.14%, the S&P 500 Index rose by 0.13%, and the Nasdaq Index climbed by 0.18%. On individual stocks, Tesla (TSLA.O) gained 1.6%, mainly due to an increase in deliveries in the UK in September; Occidental Petroleum (OXY.N) rose by 1.9%. Apple (AAPL.O) stock fell by 1%, as Jefferies downgraded its rating. GameStop (GME.N) stock declined by 3%, following the company's submission of a shelf registration statement.
